Research

Check for referrals form other jobs completed by the company before you engage in quoting your job, ask them for references.

Engage

Plan

If the work is over $30,000.00 NZD, a Construction Contract will be required before engaging.

If you have declined the quote acknowledge the quote has been declined to the engaged party. Please be aware that they have taken the time to prepare this for you and its common courtesy to reply back. Who knows, you may be able to get them to sharpen the price.

When the quote has been accepted:

Ask for a certificate of General Liability Insurance
